Evening Child Kayak Lessons - 4 Week Course

Discover the inspirational activity of Kayaking on this 4 week course. Classes will be held on a weekly basis beginning on Wednesday 22nd May and running to Wednesday 12th June 2013.

With the aid of our skilled and passionate coaches you'll not only enjoy these classes but also develop all the basics required to continue enjoying the activity in complete confidence.

Definitely! Ideal for either complete beginners or those who have tried Kayaking before including individuals, groups or clubs wishing to move to the next level.

Where is the course located?

Located at our Adventure Centre Castlewellan Forest Park.

What will I learn on the course?

Week 1 - Capsize Drill & Self Rescue

Week 2 - Eskimo Rescues

Week 3 - Paddle Stroke Improvement

Week 4 - Group Rescue

What is included in the course cost?

• 1 evening (1 Hour) of coaching/guiding with a professional Kayak coach.
• All specialist equipment.
• All in course transport
• Guided Kayak Trip

What are the course pre-requisites?

• Suitable for complete beginners and those who want to improve existing beginners skills
• Adult Class 16+ yrs
• Childrens Class 10-16 yrs old
• A sense of Adventure!

What is the course schedule?

Weekly evening classes

Child Class 5.30pm - 6.30pm

Adult Class 7.00pm - 8.00pm

Due to the flexibility of the course and the versatility of the region, weather rarely impinges upon the course, and remember there's no such thing as poor weather just poor clothing!

Adult Cost 4 week course booked online £40pp (if booked individually each lesson costs £15pp)
