Highlights of the tour include a visit to a stunning Baronial-style castle, a stroll through the internationally renowned Annesley Gardens, and the challenge of navigating the record-breaking Peace Maze. Guests will also discover the ‘lesser known’ stories and hidden gems of this extraordinary landscape.
After working up an appetite, we take a scenic pause to enjoy a well-earned artisan lunch—served with a view. Featuring a range of local delights that blend traditional and contemporary flavours, this meal is a celebration of the Geopark’s award-winning producers and its rich culinary heritage.

Where do we start… the seaside town of Newcastle itself, before riding through the iconic Barbican Gate into Tollymore Forest Park with Foley’s Bridge and the Riverside Walk, the Hermitage and Footstick Bridge, and the Drinns with spectaluar views over land and sea. You might even get to catch the odd TV & Movie scene on the way, The Fall, Game of Thrones, Dracula to name a few.
